Dear Resident Here is an update regarding Acquisitive Crime which occurred in the Lenton Triangle Police beat area during the month of September.
Burglaries residential = 1 29/09 Derby Road – Unknown male has tried door handles after scoping the area seeing occupants leave addresses.
Burglary residential unconnected building = 1 09/03 Henton Row – Bike stolen from shed.
Robbery = 1 26/09 Seely Road – Unknown offenders approached victim asking him to check his mobile phone, once produced one of the offenders snatched the phone and ran off, no threats or violence.
Criminal Damage = 2 Between 10/09 and 11/09 Ilkeston Road – Near rear side vehicle window smashed and the offside rear quarter window cracked, nothing reported stolen from within. 11/09 Ilkeston Road – Glass panel in the back door of unused commercial building has been smashed.
Theft of motor vehicle = 0 Theft from vehicle = 1 22/09 Faraday Road – Vehicle was left insecure outside home address, unknown offender has entered vehicle, wallet and money stolen from within.
Cycle Theft = 0 Shop Theft = 8 incidents of shoplifting reported

With the community feedback received, I have now included Robbery, Cycle Theft and Shop Theft in the monthly crime reports.
